Instead of his usually outfit, he’s wearing a Youngster uniform instead, except that he‘s still wearing that same old hat of his. While the little guy is starting to master future technology, he looks very bothered by something.]

I suppose it’s time to move onto the next town then. As nice as it was to stay in Cherrygrove, we can’t stay here forever. I'm not too excited about traveling for a week, especially with those wild Pokemon running about, but we'll just have to make the best of it and...

Something’s wrong, I can’t understand Mr. Bear or Hoppip…I tried to talk to them, but…I hope this isn't permanent.

You didn't get into a fight with them, did you? [Not shocked that Luke can talk to animals- or pokemon. He talked to his teddy bear all the time.]

No, they seemed perfectly fine the last time I talked to them. I'm not sure what happened.
