Instead of his usually outfit, he’s wearing a Youngster uniform instead, except that he‘s still wearing that same old hat of his. While the little guy is starting to master future technology, he looks very bothered by something.]

I suppose it’s time to move onto the next town then. As nice as it was to stay in Cherrygrove, we can’t stay here forever. I'm not too excited about traveling for a week, especially with those wild Pokemon running about, but we'll just have to make the best of it and...

Um…

Something’s wrong, I can’t understand Mr. Bear or Hoppip…I tried to talk to them, but…I hope this isn't permanent.

Not many people can talk to animals in my world either. The Professor certainly can't...

No, for some reason I lost the ability to talk to Mr. Bear and Hoppip.

Maybe when you get brought here they take that sort of thing away. I just don't understand why it happened now of all times.

I'm not sure what that would have to do with it, but this world is pretty strange so I wouldn't rule it out.

Well if you can usually talk to animals maybe the bees buzzing are drowning it out... or something.
