[Because he's an idiot, Luke, though to be fair he's also an idiot who's working with several people who are far crazier than he will ever be and as such he wants to know what on earth they're up to, and very quaint people from London have an amazing talent for getting themselves hospitalized by his coworkers.

Admittedly, the one responsible for most of the crazy is currently in Vermilion, so there's also that...hm.]
