[Usually Luke notices when strange things are going down in Johto, but today doesn't feel any different then any other day. No new Pokemon, no being warped to strange new places. It's surprisingly peaceful, if not a little boring.

He'll be propped up in his hospital bed, reading a book. Even though today seems pretty peaceful, something still feels off. Every once in a while, he'll set down his book and look towards the door. As if he's expecting someone to be there.]

...Hello? Is anyone there?

[If there was nothingness before this moment it was replaced now, out of nowhere, by a lanky male with dirty blond hair. Standing with his back turned to Luke for a few moments, the male looked around in half panic, half curiosity as he desperately attempted to get some sense of bearing.]

What is going on? This is the third time that's happened... Man, last time I was standing on top of Bell Tower, now...Where am I?

[The blond continues to grumble to himself for a few moments, his voice betraying completely that he was more or less nearing a nervous breakdown.]

[A pause. He considers walking away and not answering, but his need for answers just barely outweighs his battered pride. Hatless and wary, he steps into the doorway. A couple of band-aids on his face might help explain why he's in the hospital at all.]

[ It's been almost a week since Layton has left the Pokemon world, but to him, he doesn't even know that he went back home. Well, actually, he kind of does. He arrived back in "Future" London for just a minute, but then he found himself back at Goldenrod in his bedroom, so he has assumed that it might have just been a dream, though he has a small nagging feeling that it isn't. ]

[ After getting all dressed and packed, he takes off towards the hospital to visit Luke, wondering where the heck did all of his Pokemon go. Claire is always around when he wakes up and she never strays too far, so it's strange but maybe she already went to visit Luke without him. It's possible, since she's a pretty caring Ninetales so he doesn't spend much more time looking around and heads right towards Luke's room, knocking on his door a few times before entering. ]

[ SURPRISE, SUDDEN PROFESSAH who is just smiling at Luke like he never really left. How puzzling... ]
