Puzzle 037 - [Action for Goldenrod]
Feb. 15th, 2012 02:24 pm[Action 1 - Outskirts of Goldenrod.]
[Today, lurking in the bushes on the outskirts of Goldenrod is a boy and his Pokemon. Or more specifically Luke, Sphinx the Luxray, and Soul the Pichu. After listening to everyone's advice on how to woo a girl, he's got a very special plan to attract the girl of his dreams. A plan that will show said girl just how amazingly brave and strong he is.
There's no way this plan go wrong. They've spent days practicing this little skit, after all.]
All right, you both remember the plan, right?
Lux!
Chu!
Right. So Sphinx when I give the signal you will pretend to attack Soul. And remember this has to look realistic so give it your all - roar, show your teeth, do anything to make yourself look absolutely terrifying. But do not actually attack Soul, got it? He's still much smaller then you and you could really hurt him, all right?
And Soul, your only job is to look as terrified as possible. Cower in fear if you must. And then right as Sphinx pretends to go in and attack you, I'll jump in and scare him off just like we rehearsed. Think you can do it?
[The two Pokemon glance at each other, looking unsure. When even your Pokemon are doubtful of your plans, it's probably time to get a new plan. But they both nod in agreement. After all, Luke promised to pick up Pokemon treats for them if they could successful pull this off.]
Okay, get to it!
[So for anyone walking past, you will see this: A very helpless looking Pichu followed by the roar of a very angry Luxray. The Luxray will charge forward to attack the small, cowering Pichu, looking like he's about to swallow the poor mouse Pokemon whole. Right as it looks like the Pichu is doomed, Luke dramatically leaps out from the bushes. About the same time he does that, he suddenly catches the sound of some music. Some really, really nice music.]
Stop right there! You leave that poor Pokemon...alone?
[A few minutes pass, with Sphinx and Soul glancing at each other in confusion and wondering what they should be doing right now and why their trainer looks kind of dazed. Luke turns towards his two Pokemon with a goofy grin on his face, walking up to the Luxray and putting an arm around the Luxray's neck.]
You ought to stop that, because violence is wrong. And I love you both very much! Come here, my two best buddies in the whole world!
[And Luke scoops up the Pichu, right before he gives him and Sphinx a big hug, while the two Pokemon are incredibly confused by this. But it doesn't take long before the music reaches the two Pokemon as well, and soon the three of them are in one big cuddle pile together.
Mission to get a girl: FAILED.]
[Action 2 - Around Goldenrod]
[Around Goldenrod, Luke will be walking up to people and putting an arm around them with the biggest grin ever. He's just
he just has so many feelings right now.]
Hello there! Have you met my new Pokemon? I call her Cuddlekins. Isn't she just the sweetest?
[He motions to a newly caught Audino, who's just cheerfully following along with all of this without a clue of what's going on here.]
Anyway, that's not the reason I came up to you. Can I just....can I just give you a hug? I think I ought to be giving you a hug right now.
