[A bored Luke Triton is mulling around Cherrygrove, so he's decided to talk your ears off.]

Well, we're back in Cherrygrove again. It's certainly a lot smaller when you compare it to places like Violet City. Seems like this place hasn't fully recovered from those strange nightmares. Oi, police force! If you're listening to this, I recognized some of those so-called outlaws and I know they're not dangerous, all right?! We were all acting funny during those strange nightmares, you know! And as for the Pokemon who caused those nightmares in the first place, I hope you know not to toy around with people next time!

Hey, guess what everyone! Mr. Bear's the size of a full-grown bear now! She lets me ride on her back, it's really neat! And I caught this funny-looking giraffe with a head on its tail. That means it has two brains! Pretty strange, huh? The Pokegear called it a um..."Girafarig". I still haven't thought of a name for her yet...

And a lot of people from my world showed up all of a sudden! Some I haven't met in a long time, and...even some I haven't met yet. It's hard to explain. And another thing - ah, wait! Girafarig, stop trying to eat my Pokegear, that's not food!!

Well, a few weeks ago there was a lot of ghost Pokemon that created this huge illusion that made everyone believe they were trapped in some sort of nightmare. I thought I was being attacked by a headless Professor, but Mr. Bear snapped me out of it just in time!

But for others, it was a lot worse. They attacked other people thinking they were part of the nightmare...

It was pretty tough, but for Layton's apprentice it was no trouble!
