It's National Puzzle Day!!!

How did I not know about such a holiday until now? What a fantastic idea for holiday! Oh sorry, I meant radical idea for a holiday!

Of course, I couldn't call myself a puzzle enthusiast if I didn't have a few puzzles prepared for such a holiday! And I think I've found a really good one to start you all off with:

"One snowy night, Sherlock Holmes was in his house sitting by a fire. All of a sudden a snowball came crashing through his window, breaking it. Holmes got up and looked out the window just in time to see three neighborhood kids who were brothers run around a corner. Their names were John Crimson, Mark Crimson and Paul Crimson.

The next day Holmes got a note on his door that read '? Crimson. He broke your window.'
Which of the three Crimson brothers should Sherlock Holmes question about the incident?"

A play on words? The culprit would be Mark, presumably, for a question mark. Though I would wonder as to why Sherlock Holmes himself would not be capable of deducing this for himself, completely without the note-- and an anonymous note like that, I'd be surprised if it wasn't from someone involved with the crime...
