[A few hours later after Luke wakes up from this incident, he finds himself in a hospital room in the Pokemon Center. But with the fighting still going on outside, the idea of just sitting around in a hospital room doesn't sit well with him. Unfortunately, he still hasn't recovered enough from inhaling poisonous fumes for him to be leaving his hospital room, so he's kind of stuck.
...Or is he?
While the nurses are busy tending to the other sick people and Pokemon that were brought in, Luke climbs out of bed and sneaks down the hallway in the most daring and exciting escape he's ever made in his life-
-only to get dragged back to bed five minutes later by an annoyed Nurse Joy and a couple of Chansey, with Luke protesting the entire time.]
I'm telling you, I feel fine! I need to be out there helping- [And before Luke can finish that sentence, he breaks into coughing.]
You're not fine, and you won't be able to help anyone if you pass out again just because you didn't feel like staying in bed. Now you need to stay here and rest, understood?
[After the nurse leaves, Luke folds his arms across his chest and pouts. A few minutes later, he picks up the Pokegear.]

Date: 2012-05-06 07:22 am (UTC)[And just as promised, Clive shows up at the Pokémon Center about two hours later with Cheyenne, Mr. Bear, and Kira following behind him. However, he isn't in very good shape... Being out in the toxic fumes for such a long period of time definitely messed him up, but at least breathing in the clean air of the Pokémon Center is enough to make some of the sick feeling go away. After being forced to take some medicine by the nurse, he asks her where Luke's room is and heads on over.
He enters the room looking exhausted and rather pale, but nevertheless he greets Luke with a smile.]
I'm here!
[And the Pokémon file in behind him, as well.]
