An archipelago made up of giant mangrove trees that stretch all the way down to the ocean floor. It's the last stop for pirates along the Grand Line before they hit Mariejois -- the world government holy City. So most of them take a route under the ocean through Fishman Island in order to get to the New World. -- And they do that by coating their ships at Sabaody with a resin from the trees that makes a giant bubble.
Remember the Battle of Marineford I mentioned before? Whitebeard coated his ships there so that he could try to sneak up on the marines.
